"Get rid of Salah now. His level has become miserable." This is the latest outcry from Liverpool fans, a Premier League rival, towards the Egyptian star after reports that he was ready to move to a rival in the English Football Championship due to the crisis of renewing his contract.
Liverpool's social media fans reacted angrily to reports of the exit of Mohamed Salah, who appears to be open to moving to another Premiership club in June 2023, with Salah only 12 months left on his contract with talks at a standstill.
Frustrated Liverpool fans have targeted Mohamed Salah after those reports, although the Egyptian star has made it clear that he is fully focused on Liverpool next season.
The Athletic claimed in a report that Mohamed Salah would prefer to stay in the Premier League after leaving Liverpool.
The news apparently didn't go well on Merseyside as fans flocked to social media to express their anger and frustration.
"Let him go," wrote one social media user, according to the Daily Mail.
"Get rid of Salah now, his level has become miserable in the last six months, so let him go, he has created a few bad feelings," another user was quoted as saying.
A third user said: "Get rid of him this summer."
