Iran International television revealed the killing of IrGC Quds Force leader Ismailzadeh in Kraj on Monday.
The source added that the leader of the 840th Jerusalem Corps unit died after falling from the roof of his house, while a family reported that he had committed suicide due to psychological problems that accompanied his separation from his wife.
Informed sources indicated Ismailzadeh is close to a khadai hunter who was killed in an attack in front of his home last month.
The commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guard, Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami, accused "Zionists" of being behind the shooting assassination of Colonel Sayed Khadai in Tehran in May, according to statements on the guards' website on Monday.
Salami said that a khadai hunter was killed "by the most naughty, the Zionists, and God willing we will avenge the blood of the martyr," in remarks quoted by The Spa News.
"The enemy, from the heart of the White House and Tel Aviv, tracked my cheeks for months and years from house to house, from alley to alley, until he was able to kill him."
A week after the assassination of IRGC Colonel Khadai in the heart of Tehran, Israel issued a stern warning to its nationals not to travel to Turkey for fear of reprisals by Iranians.
Khadai fired five shots at him in his car near his home in eastern Tehran on May 22nd, state media reported.
In a statement of obituary, the Guard held responsibility for elements associated with "global arrogance," a phrase used to refer to the United States and its allies.
According to the New York Times, Israel informed Washington that it had assassinated the Iranian officer, citing an unnamed intelligence official.
The guards confirmed that Khadai was a "defender of the Holy Shrines (Haram Defender)," a phrase used to refer to his members who performed duties in the Syria and Iraq conflicts.
Tehran confirms the presence of members of its armed forces in an advisory capacity in Iraq to counter "takfiri" elements, particularly ISIS, and in Syria to support President Bashar al-Assad's forces in the conflict in his country since 2011.
Iranian state television revealed that Khadai was a member of the Quds Corps, which is entrusted with foreign operations in the Guard, and was born in 1972 in the province of East Azerbaijan in northwestern Iran.
