Palestinian presidency condemns Washington's decision to remove Israeli Kach movement from terrorist lists

The Palestinian presidency on Saturday denounced the State Department's decision to remove the Israeli Kach movement from the list of foreign terrorist organizations with congressional approval.

The Palestinian News Agency quoted the presidency as calling on the U.S. administration to remove the PLO from terrorist lists.

The presidency called the congressional decision a "reward" for activists of the Israeli movement, expressed surprise at the timing and reasons of the resolution, and called on the administration to reverse it.

On Friday, the U.S. State Department announced the removal of five organizations from the terrorism list: the Basque separatist organization ETA (Armed Spanish), the Japanese um Shinrikyo community, the Ultra-Jewish Kach Movement, the Islamic Group responsible for the assassination of former Egyptian President Mohamed Anwar Sadat, and the Mujahedeen Shura Council group in The Holy House, which has been active in Israel, the Palestinian territories and Egypt.
