U.S. health officials have warned of a rise in the number of new CORONA infections, saying the country is currently experiencing the fourth highest increase in cases, amid warnings that Corona is considered a "trivial" disease and part of the past.
According to the Guardian newspaper, the United States has recorded about 94,000 new infections a day, while the proportion of injured people admitted to hospital has increased since April.

A study in New York City suggested that diagnosed and confirmed cases may be 30 times lower than the actual number of people infected.
Dennis Nash, professor of epidemiology at the City University of New York, who is the study's supervisor, said official statistics do not reflect the actual number of infections.
Data show that one in five, or 22 percent, of New York adults contracted Corona between April 23 and May 8, meaning that 1.5 million people were infected in just two weeks.
The study focused solely on New York, where people get easier to check up, which means the numbers may be higher and worse in other parts of the United States.
