Press reports revealed that Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah Liverpool would like to stay in the Premier League once the end of his contract with Liverpool without an agreement between the two parties to renew it, and does not mind moving to one of his current rivals.

"I don't want to be selfish and talk about my contract, I said that earlier and I say it now, I am focusing on the team, especially in this important week during which the Champions League final awaits us," Salah said on Wednesday at a press conference before facing Real Madrid.

"I don't want to talk about the contract and extend it now, we have a long time to go, I'll definitely stay at Liverpool next season, and we'll see what happens next.

According to The Athletic, Salah does not want to play outside England, and if liverpool management does not accept his terms, he will go to one of the team's competitors to continue playing in the Premier League, and according to the report that the management of the team did not talk to the player about his new contract six months ago, and that their last talk saw a big difference of views.

The report continued: Liverpool management made its offer which contained an increase in Salah's salary by only 15%, which is far from the requests of the latter, Salah does not care about the duration of the new contract, as he does not mind the extension for two years only because he is convinced to continue to offer him distinctive levels even after he reaches the age of 30.
Salah moved to Liverpool in the summer of 2017 and won the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, European Super Cup and Club World Cup.
