A video released by U.S. news stations revealed the moment Rami Hani Munir Fahim, son of Egypt's immigration minister, arrived at an apartment building before the murder he was accused of committing, U.S. sources said.
Video footage of the cameras of residents of the apartments adjacent to the crime scene showed Rami walking through the corridors of the building where the incident took place.Rami appeared wearing all black, before at one point looking directly at one of the surveillance cameras, to reveal his identity.
The video was released in April at the building in Anaheim, Orange County, California.
Preliminary information in the incident revealed that the son of Egyptian Minister Nabila Makram, that the U.S. police received a call confirming a fight in an apartment on the outskirts of California, and when the police moved to the apartment found two bodies of the victims, while the son of the minister was inside the apartment with minor injuries, and ordered the police to take him to the hospital until he recovered from the injuries, and was arrested for his involvement in the killing.
Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad Nabila Makram said she and her family were "in great distress and having a hard time accusing my son of murder in the United States."
"This accusation is pending before a U.S. court, and has not yet been conclusively ruled," she said in a Facebook post.
